Introduction

Hello!
I'm a second year math teacher in North Carolina. I wanted to start a blog to connect with some of the other awesome teachers I see out there, and hopefully share a few of my own ideas in the process.

This year I am teaching block Math I (basically Algebra I) and one year long Math I.

I am working on incorporating:
-Interactive Notebooks. (pics to come soon)
-Standards Based Grading (light version)

Interested in exploring:
-Flipping the classroom
-Incorporating more student activities
-Incorporating technology

And of course...a ridiculous amount of color-coding and organization...thus the name of my blog =).
